Paris, 2 September 2025 – GLP, a leading business builder, owner, developer, and operator of logistics real estate, now part of Ares Management Real Estate, announced today it has entered into lease agreements in connection with four of its parks in France – Ablaincourt, Denain, Châteauroux and Ormes – representing an aggregate of approximately 50,000 SQM in warehousing space.
JINGDONG Logistics joins GLP Park Ablaincourt
JINGDONG Logistics, a global provider of technology-driven supply chain and logistics services, has signed a lease for 12,000 SQM at GLP Park Ablaincourt. Another major client currently occupies 70,000 SQM within the 101,000 SQM facility. The building has been certified “Very Good” by BREEAM and features a large-scale photovoltaic roof. Strategically located near the A1 and A29 motorways between Lille and Paris, GLP Park Ablaincourt provides strong connections to major European hubs such as Le Havre, Antwerp and Rotterdam.
Maersk expands occupancy of GLP Park Denain
Maersk, a provider of integrated container logistics and supply chain services, has signed a lease for the remaining 25,000 SQM at GLP Park Denain in northern France. With Maersk already occupying 75,000 SQM at the facility under a different agreement, this brings the 100,000 SQM site to full occupancy. GLP Park Denain is located in the Hauts-de-France region and benefits from a prime position at the junction of the A2 and A21 motorways, with direct links to Northern Europe.
Courir constructs additional space at GLP Park Châteauroux
Courir, a leading French retailer in sneakers, is expanding its facility at GLP Park Châteauroux through the construction of an additional 8,300 SQM unit to accommodate further growth. The new unit will bring the total building size to 26,000 SQM. This long-term partnership exemplifies GLP’s ability to deliver tailored solutions that support customer growth and evolving operational needs.
Distri Cash agrees to occupy space in Ormes
Distri Cash, a wholesaler and distributor of automotive tyres, has signed a lease for 4,000 SQM at Orléans Logistics Park 1 in Ormes. Situated in the region’s premier logistics zone, Ormes is widely recognised as the prime distribution hub for Orléans, benefiting from a large consumer base and access to a skilled local workforce. The park offers excellent connectivity, with direct access to Orléans in approximately 15 minutes via the D2157, and to Paris in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes via the A10 motorway. The site also benefits from modern infrastructure and sits within a dynamic, well-established logistics ecosystem.
Philippe Graziani, Managing Director, Ares Real Estate said:
“We believe these leases with new and existing customers are a testament to the strength and quality of our logistics platform, as well as our ability to deliver tailored and scalable solutions to support customers’ evolving needs as their businesses grow.”
