GLP is proud to announce today that it has agreed to lease its GLP Logistics Centre in Lƒôdziny, Upper Silesia to its first customer Eurotherm Poland Sp. z o.o., only a few weeks since construction began on the site. Eurotherm, part of Schneider Electric, will be the building’s first occupier and it will use the warehouse as a site for its industrial automation plant that manufactures measurement and control instruments.

GLP Leziny park is a 110,000 SQ M centre which has direct access to the Expressway S1. Construction on the centre began in mid-February 2021 and the first stage of construction is expected to be completed by mid-2021.

Upon completion the building will have a clear height of 12 M, an extra deep 24-metre picking zone and a floor loading capacity (7.5 t/ SQ M) to support production machinery and lines.

The facility will be built to BREEAM certification standards, and in line with GLP’s sustainability guidelines in all its new builds. The building will have built in energy-saving solutions, including a smart metering system that will enable clients to control utility consumption in real time as well as solar-ready rooftops. The building will also allow for natural light to improve working conditions for workers.
