Heidenheim Logistics Centre

The modern logistics facility in Heidenheim an der Brenz stands at a clear height of 10 metres to the underside of the girders. The warehouse includes around 3,000 SQM of office and communal areas. The roughly 135,000 SQM site in the Rinderberg industrial area features GLP’s logistics and distribution facilities high standards for environmentally friendly construction.

All the company’s new developments in the German market are built in compliance with the strict sustainability standards of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and is DGNB Gold-certified. GLP’s sustainable approach allows tenants to reduce energy consumption, CO2 emissions and water usage, and thus operating costs.

The site is strategically located in the center of South-West Germany between Stuttgart and Munich within 2km (2 mins) of the A7, the longest German motorway and the second largest continuous national motorway in Europe leading to Austria in the south and to Denmark in the north.

Excellent transport links
The A7 motorway leads south to the A8, which can be reached within 30 mins/40 km, is connecting the cities of Stuttgart and Munich. Munich can be reached in 1h 30mins (170km) and Stuttgart can be reached within 1h (80 km).

The automated snow guard allows to swiftly identify load bearing challenges during heavy snow fall seasons, reducing the risk of collapse and ensuring the safety of employees and inventory.
