Q2 leasing volumes increased to 544,000 sqm as customer demand drives further leasing activity in the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy during Q3
LONDON – 29 September, 2026 – Marq Logistics, a global leader in the development and operation of modern logistics facilities, has announced today strong leasing momentum throughout Q2, which is expected to continue through Q3.
Marq Logistics completed 28 new leases totalling 544,000 sqm during Q2, compared with 21 leases totalling 414,000 sqm in Q1. The increase represents approximately 31% growth in leased area quarter-on-quarter and provides further evidence of demand for high-quality, well-located logistics space across the European portfolio.
Marq Logistics also continued to expand its portfolio during Q2. At the end of the quarter, Marq Logistics had 519 completed properties and 14.8 million sqm of completed gross lettable area (GLA), compared with 496 properties and 14.0 million sqm at the end of Q1. During the Q2, Marq Logistics completed five developments offering a combined 345,000 sqm of new lettable space and 19 acquisitions equating to 516,000 sqm.
Marq Logistics currently has several projects under development across Europe including at Saint-Witz 1 and 2 and Alençon in France; Anagni 3 and Calderara in Italy; Brussels South in Belgium; and Villaverde 2 and 3 in Spain, all supporting the continued expansion of its European platform.

Germany
At Magna Park Kassel, Marq Logistics has achieved full occupancy of its approximately 51,000 sqm logistics facility following new leases with a global transport and logistics provider and home improvement retailer BAUHAUS.
A further 13,000 sqm has been leased at Magna Park Hamburg-South (Bispingen) to Soltau Logistics Centre.
In addition, Marq Logistics has secured a new lease for 9,000 sqm at Marq Logistics Duisburg with a Chinese 3PL (third-party logistics) and e-commerce fulfilment provider, further strengthening the asset’s occupancy.
Spain
At Magna Park Tauro in Illescas, Toledo, near Madrid, Marq Logistics has leased 35,126 sqm to a leading global provider of contract logistics and supply chain solutions. The customer took occupancy on 15 September 2026.
The transaction adds to Marq Logistics’ leasing momentum in Spain, where Villaverde 2 and 3 are also under development.
Italy
Marq Logistics has successfully leased the 50,000 sqm Marq Logistics Filago development and the 22,000 sqm Marq Logistics Colleferro 2 development, both BREEAM Excellent certified and fully occupied.
Together with the leasing of an 8,000 sqm asset in Verona, these transactions reaffirm the strong appeal of high-quality, strategically located logistics assets in key Italian markets.
United Kingdom
Marq Logistics has secured two further lettings at Northampton and Stevenage during Q3, comprising more than 15,000 sqm of logistics space, adding to the leasing momentum across the European portfolio.
