Madrid, June 20th 2023. – GLP, the leading global business builder in logistics, digital infrastructure, renewable energy and related technologies, announces the construction of its seventh development in central Spain, G-Park Getafe. The project is expected to be ready in early 2024.

Located in the heart of southern Madrid, the building will be constructed on a plot of more than 35,000 SQM, offering 22,153 SQM of new logistics space. The building will be situated in a strategic hub, facing the A-4 and less than 3 kilometres from one of the capital’s main ring roads, the M-50.

Named after the city in which the park is built in, G-Park Getafe will not only be highly accessible, just over 20 minutes from the centre of Madrid, but will also stand out as the ideal location for a corporate headquarters.

The warehouse will have a maximum storage height of 12.2 metres. It will also have 26 loading and unloading bays, as well as a 179-space car park. The building will also have more than 850 SQM of office space.

Upon completion of the warehouse, the logistics park will achieve BREEAM Excellent sustainable construction certification, which guarantees the highest levels of sustainability indicators for all processes, the reduction of water consumption, the use of recycled and recyclable materials, as well as the optimisation of natural light.
