GLP, now part of Ares Management Real Estate, announced today that it has signed a new lease agreement with Euromed Pharma, a company specialising in pharmaceutical logistics, in connection with a 27,000 SQM space at G-Park Filago, in the province of Bergamo, Italy. This transaction completes the leasing of the entire building.

Approximately 24,500 SQM within G-Park Filago is already occupied. Euromed Pharma will occupy the remaining space of the property, which covers a total area of around 51,500 SQM and features 31 truck parking spaces, 250 car parking spaces, and 52 double-front loading bays, which have a maximum clear height of 12m.

G-Park Filago is strategically located 2.5 km from the Capriate toll gate on the A4 motorway and 15 km from the A58 TEEM motorway, providing fast connections to central Milan (30 km), Orio al Serio Airport (18 km), and Linate Airport (37 km), as well as to northern Italy and the A1 motorway, a key national logistics corridor.

The space leased to Euromed Pharma will be fitted out by the tenant with warehouse air conditioning, a photovoltaic system, and cold storage facilities.

The building is certified to the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard for New Construction and promotes the use of sustainable energy, featuring a roof designed for the installation of photovoltaic panels and charging points for electric vehicles. The building also includes energy-saving measures – such as insulated façades and roofs, an intelligent building management system, and smart metering to monitor utilities. To minimise environmental impact, woodland areas have been preserved to protect the nearby Dordo Municipal Park. In addition, trees have been planted across an area of more than 7,000 SQM for environmental mitigation.
