G-Park Pinto’s temperature-controlled specifications will allow Primafrío, an important customer in the FMCG space, to optimise its logistics operations.
GLP announces that Primafrío, the international operator specialising in temperature-controlled logistics and distribution, has located to its new G-Park Pinto warehouse. The speculative development totals almost 19,000 SQM and is built on a plot of 42,157 SQM.
This strategically-located warehouse will optimise Primafrío’s distribution operations in central Spain. The warehouse is located in the Sector 5 logistics area, in Pinto, about 20 minutes from Madrid, and benefits from a strong transport network. It has access to A-4 (Madrid-Córdoba) and A-42 (Madrid-Toledo) motorways, the M-50 and M-45 Madrid ring roads and direct access to R-4 (Madrid-Ocaña toll road).
The building is designed to meet customer needs. With a floor occupancy of less than 45%, the warehouse stands out for its maximum storage height of 12.2 metres and its 22 loading bays. In addition, the warehouse itself is complemented by more than 23,000 SQM of land, on which Primafrío will set up a transport base: the group’s first in central Spain.
As with all GLP developments, the building has high sustainability standards and has achieved BREEAM Very Good certification. The building is equipped with a smart building management system, with both on-site and remote monitoring, as well as LED lighting, presence detectors and interior insulation. These features allow Primafrío to have complete control over its energy consumption – a critical part of cold storage logistics – whilst also minimising costs and environmental impact.
