GLP announces the signing of a new lease agreement for 35,567 SQM in G-Park Sagunto with Stadler Valencia, a manufacturer of railway vehicles owned by the Swiss company Stadler Rail AG.

With this new agreement, GLP has now leased 100% of its logistics park in the Valencian community, offering its new tenant the opportunity to centralise its operations, which were previously spread across several warehouses.

The warehouse is the second building of G-Park Sagunto, built speculatively on a 57,119 SQM plot, and became available in November. Located in the north of Valencia, it stands out for its excellent connections to the Mediterranean Corridor by motorway and with the ADIF railway system and the ports of Valencia and Sagunto.

With a free height of 11.7 meters and 42 loading bays, the warehouse will be tailored to the lateral unloading needs specific to the logistics operations conducted by Stadler Valencia.

The building is BREEAM Very Good certified, endorsing GLP’s efforts in regenerating the previously degraded brownfield site at this location. It demonstrates high performance in terms of energy efficiency and operability, as well as for its high construction qualities.

Óscar Heras, Director of GLP Spain, commented: “Providing a new operational headquarters to a leading company in the railway sector is a source of deep satisfaction for our team. G-Park Sagunto has an optimal location to efficiently serve the Iberian Peninsula and Southern Europe. Stadler Valencia’s choice to establish operations here validates the strategic value of this park and its exceptional location and sustainability credentials.”

The lease has been advised by TPF as GLP’s marketer and by Deloitte acting for Stadler Valencia.
