Frankfurt, 23 July 2024 – GLP, a leading global business builder, owner and operator of logistics real estate, digital infrastructure, renewable energy technologies and other corresponding technologies, today announces that it has leased Unit 3 a modern logistics facility located in Magna Park Berlin-Werder (Havel) near Berlin to the international fashion wholesaler F&P Stock Solution.

The leased unit offers approximately 7,000 SQM of warehouse space and 200 SQM of office space. The high-quality logistics hub is centrally located in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region, one of the most economically dynamic regions in Europe. The building’s availability follows the decision by the previous tenant of the building, LGI Logistics Group International, to relocate to Unit 7C, situated in the same Magna Park, which is nearly completed.

The unit will support F&P Stock Solution’s expansion plans, providing it with additional logistics space and first-class transport connections. The layout of the hub meanwhile has been designed to make the business’ packing and other processes as efficient as possible.

Magna Park Berlin-Werder (Havel) is located to the south-west of Berlin, directly on the A10 motorway, Berlin’s motorway ring, and close to the A9 (Berlin-Leipzig) and A24 (Berlin-Hamburg) motorways. The A2 (Berlin-Hannover) can be reached in approximately seven minutes and the building benefits from the broader transport infrastructure of the wider Berlin region.

George Fairbairn, Senior Asset Manager, at GLP Europe, said: “At strategic sites such as Magna Park Berlin-Werder (Havel), our clients gain convenient access to an excellent traffic route network and the broader transport infrastructure in the region. The GVZ Berlin West Wustermark Freight Village is only 25 kilometres away, with its road-rail transshipment terminal and inland port, connecting it to Germany’s international ports. At the same time, the GVZ Berlin South Grossbeeren Freight Village is located just 50 kilometres away. Owing to the facility’s excellent location and connectivity, F&P Stock Solution will be able to strengthen its commercial operations.

“With Units 4, 6A and 6B still currently available for rent, we look forward to welcoming new customers to this excellent site in due course.”

Stephan Ebert, Managing Director, F&P Stock Solution GmbH added: “As a global B2B fashion wholesaler, we ship our goods all over the world. To remain competitive in the fast-paced fashion market, we must be able to deliver rapidly and reliably. That is why, we are enthusiastic that GLP offered us exactly the site we were looking for – functional, perfectly located for the fashion scene and with first-class transport connections.”

NIG Norddeutsche Immobilien Gesellschaft mbH brokered the leasing contract with F&P Stock Solution and advised GLP on matters of real estate law.
