GLP signed an agreement with Victaulic, a specialist in mechanical pipe joining solutions, to lease 7,500 SQM of space in the newest building of the GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre.
The logistics park, located near the Poznań Ławica airport, totals over 81,000 SQM of class-A warehouse and production space, only a 20-minute drive from Poznań city center and 10 minutes from the A2 motorway. Victaulic has been operating at GLP Poznań Airport Logistics Centre for eight years and has just expanded its footprint within the park.
As part of the agreement, Victaulic will move to the newest building in the park, which was completed this year. The facility offers 12 meters clear height, reinforced flooring and extra natural lighting within the dock area. Its roof is prepared for the installation of photovoltaic panels – just one of many best-in-class sustainability solutions, in addition to smart media metering and LED lighting, which significantly reduces operating costs.
Jarosław Tylczyński, Branch Manager, Victaulic, commented: “After seven years of continuous expansion of distribution from Victaulic’s largest warehouse in Europe, it became necessary to increase our warehouse space. The change will enable us to meet market demands in the years to come. Considering our existing excellent relationship with GLP, we decided to continue our partnership. We plan to move to the new facility seamlessly in June, without disrupting ongoing distribution. The plan is ambitious, but achievable thanks to cooperation with business partners such as GLP who understand the sensitivity of the market and the needs of the tenant.”
Paweł Żeromski, Business Development Manager at GLP, commented: “The Victaulic expansion is an important milestone in a long-term, fruitful partnership and a perfect example of client’s development within our park. I am glad that thanks to this relocation, one of our most important clients will fully benefit from the new technical standard of GLP buildings. Thanks to the clear height of 12 meters and the increased load capacity of the floor, Victaulic obtained a more efficient warehouse in which it will be able to continue to develop its business for years to come.”
