GLP announces development of its G-Park Pinto warehouse in Madrid
GLP, a leading investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, announces the development of its new warehouse in the south of Madrid, called G-Park Pinto, on a 42,200 SQM plot.
The 18,906 SQM warehouse, with a clear height of 11.7 meters, will be built as a speculative building, given the high demand from users seeking ready-to-occupy warehouses to start their operations. Its flexible design will allow optimized storage space. In line with GLP’s rigorous quality and sustainability standards, the new building will be “Breeam Very Good” certified and will benefit from a range of wellness measures for customers.
The warehouse is located in the Sector 5 logistics area, in Pinto, about 20 minutes from Madrid, and benefits from a strong communications network. It has access to the A-4 (Madrid-Córdoba) and A-42 (Madrid-Toledo) motorways, the M-50 and M-45 Madrid ring roads and direct access to the M-506 and R-4 (Madrid-Ocaña toll road).
Given the strategic location of the warehouse and its flexible design, it will be ideal for any type of company, including parcel delivery, last-mile distribution, e-commerce, cold storage and large-scale distribution. G-Park Pinto is expected to be ready for occupation in June 2022.
