Headquartered in Luxemburg, GLP Europe Management SàRL (the “Company”) is subject to the law of 12 July 2013 on alternative investment fund managers and supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier.

Our key objective is to act as the alternative investment fund manager for the GLP Group range of funds domiciled in Luxembourg, structured as a Partnership (the “Partnerships”).

We are responsible for risk and portfolio management for the Partnerships in accordance with their investment strategy, as well as the marketing of the interests of the Partnership.

We have offices both in Luxembourg and in the Netherlands.

Nick Cook

President of GLP Europe

Nick Cook is President of GLP Europe (previously Gazeley) and leads the Company’s business in Europe.

He joined GLP in 2017 when the Company acquired Gazeley and was previously COO of Gazeley where he oversaw all capital deployment, disposition and operational aspects of the business in Europe. Nick joined Gazeley in 2002 and held several key positions including establishing Gazeley’s profitable UAE business unit and looking after Gazeley’s business in China, while maintaining a detailed involvement in all aspects of the European business.

Nick is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and has 20 years’ experience in the real estate development and investment market. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Practice Surveying & Commercial Property Development from Nottingham Trent University and has completed training in several professional courses including a Management & Leadership program at Harvard Business School. Nick is based in London.

Peter Cassells

Finance Director, M3 Capital Partners

Having completed his education in Dublin, he qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991. Since then, his background over thirty years has been in the fields of finance, accounting and treasury as well as in the real estate fund management and administration industry. In 2016, he was appointed a Conducting Officer for Prologis with responsibility for portfolio management under the terms of the Alternative Investment Funds Directive, and afterwards moved into M3 Capital Partners.

Alan Yang

Chairman of Global Investment Committee, GLP

Alan Yang chairs the Company’s global investment committee which oversees all investment activity across GLP.

Alan was previously a principal in Blackstone’s real estate private equity group where he worked on over US$70 billion of real estate transactions. Alan was also a founding member of Blackstone’s Los Angeles office and its real estate operations in Asia. Prior to his time at Blackstone, Alan worked in real estate investment banking at Merrill Lynch.

Alan has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University. Alan is based in Los Angeles.

Adam Berns

Chief Investment Officer, GLP Capital Partners

Adam Berns is the Chief Investment Officer and a Senior Managing Director of GCP. Prior to forming GCP, Adam led numerous transactions while at GLP, including GLP’s entry into Europe and GLP’s sale of its U.S. portfolio to Blackstone in 2019. Prior to joining GLP, Adam worked at Och-Ziff and Blackstone in the real estate private equity groups. Adam graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Daan van den Hoven

Managing Director – Europe

Daan van den Hoven is Managing Director of GLP Europe and jointly leads the Company’s business with Nick Cook. He joined GLP in 2018 to set up and lead the European fund management team and capital deployment initiatives.

Marta Kurpisz

Conducting Officer/Risk & Compliance/ MLRO Head of Compliance and Risk Management – Europe

Marta is the Conducting Officer of GLP Europe Management SàRL, responsible for compliance and risk management of the AIFM, and a Money Laundering Reporting Officer, responsible for GLP Europe Management SàRL and for all funds managed by the AIFM. Marta is also responsible for both areas across the whole European GLP platform. Marta has over 15 years of experience working in compliance, risk management and control functions within funds industry. Before joining GLP, she worked for Duff and Phelps as a Conducting Officer responsible for compliance and MLRO for the entity and all the funds managed. She also worked for companies like State Street and HSBC, respectively in Trustee and Risk and Fund Compliance departments, where she was looking after traditional and alternative investment funds. Marta is a certified specialist in private equity funds, certified specialist in anti-money laundering and a member of International Compliance Association (ICA) and of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. She holds two degrees, Master of Arts and PhD in Humanities.

Sylvia Slaughter

Conducting Officer / Portfolio Management, Marketing and Distribution/ Senior Vice President – Fund Management

Sylvia is the Conducting Officer of GLP Europe Management SàRL with a responsibility for portfolio management, marketing and distribution.  She is also Senior Vice President, Fund Management at GLP Europe with a responsibility for business planning, fund performance, capital management, investor reporting and fund governance.

Sylvia Slaughter has over 19 years of experience in real estate investments, 15 of which has been in fund management both with unlisted funds in various jurisdictions as well as listed vehicles in both Canadian and UK markets. Prior to GLP she was at Pure Industrial Real Estate Trust, a Canadian publicly listed REIT where she ran the investor relations program until the takeover by Blackstone. Sylvia previously worked in Goodman’s fund management team for 7 years working on Goodman’s flagship European Logistics Fund focused on strategy, capital raising and investor relations. She started her career in Canada as an investment analyst at Cadillac Fairview and Oxford Properties.

Sylvia holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She sits on the INREV Due Diligence Committee and is based in Amsterdam.
