GLP today announces that international logistics and transportation firm Lorenc Logistic has signed a lease agreement at GLP Park Brno Holubice. Lorenc Logistic, based in Klatovy, western Bohemia, will use the premises in Holubice to expand its services and grow its commercial output.
The GLP Park Brno Holubice, is a 70,000 SQM facility built to the highest technical and sustainability standards, achieving a BREEAM Excellent rating. The buildings have a clear height, ranging between 10-12 meters and are energy-efficient with above-standard insulation and equipped with heat pumps.
Infrastructure for e-mobility is being built too, including charging stations for electric vehicles and e-delivery trucks up to 5 tons to enable last-mile e-mobility for clients. Rainwater is to be utilized as utility water, such as for toilet flushing or watering greenery.
On top of that, the park has been designed and built as a Digital Twin using BIM modelling, with the premises equipped with thousands of data sensors. The data will be utilized in a unique property management system to ensure efficient and swift operations and maintenance.
Václav Lorenc, Owner and Director of Lorenc Logistic, commented: „We value the high standards of GLP’s construction work, specifically the quality of the floors, which allowed us to install the Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking system without the need for further investment.“
Jan Palek, Director for GLP, Czech Republic and Slovakia, commented: „GLP Park Brno Holubice is almost fully leased to top-tier customers and the completed buildings are gradually being handed over to tenants. The construction of the entire park will be completed in the middle of this year, and we expect by then all buildings to be fully leased, operational and generating hundreds of jobs for the local community.“
GLP Park Brno Holubice continues to attract various high-quality tenants such as the logistics-technology company Zásilkovna, which will operate a distribution centre on the site. Fischer Automotive Systems will also use the site to assemble components for vehicle interiors, such as ventilation grilles, air-conditioning outlets, storage compartments and other equipment to ensure comfort in vehicles. In addition, ROHLIG SUUS Logistics will build a modern logistics centre to expand its existing branches in Prague and Ostrava.
