Barcelona, September 10th, 2024 – GLP, a leading global business builder, owner, developer, and operator of logistics real estate, digital infrastructure, renewable energy, and related technologies, today announces that it has signed a new lease agreement with LOGISTEED Europe B.V., an international logistics service provider, for a 28,829 SQM warehouse in G-Park Masquefa, near Barcelona.
Through this agreement, LOGISTEED will consolidate its Spanish operations and significantly expand its storage capacity in this strategic location within the L’Anoia region of Spain.
Situated near Barcelona, less than 50km from El Prat international airport and offering easy access to the AP-7 and A-2 motorways, G-Park Masquefa is exceptionally well-positioned for local, national and international distribution.
Optimised for logistics activity, the warehouse features 36 loading bays, a level access door, 16 charging points for electric vehicles and a clear height of 11.7m. The building has also been designed to accommodate a rooftop photovoltaic system capable of generating up to 100kW of power, contributing to the generation of clean energy within the local grid.
G-Park Masquefa boasts a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification that underlines GLP’s commitment to sustainability and is the first of GLP’s projects in Spain to adopt a green colour scheme, enabling the building to blend harmoniously with its natural surroundings. These include planted areas created along the site’s perimeter to help preserve local biodiversity.
