Milan, 20th February 2025 – GLP, a leading global business builder, owner, developer, and operator of logistics real estate, digital infrastructure, renewable energy, and related technologies, today announces the signing of a lease agreement with Ilomo, a leading importer and distributor of household products, at G-Park Colleferro 3, in the Metropolitan City of Rome.

The building, which holds a BREEAM Excellent certification in construction, spans approximately 11,000 SQM. Construction began in July 2024 and was completed in January 2025, with the facility delivered to the customer on schedule.

G-Park Colleferro 3 is located near GLP’s other properties in the area—G-Park Colleferro 1 and Colleferro 2—as well as three additional sites located in Anagni (FR), reinforcing the area’s growing prominence as a key logistics hub.

The property benefits from its proximity to the Greater Rome area, a major transit hub providing convenient access to Southern Italy. The area offers excellent transport links, including direct access to the A1 motorway, as well as multimodal connections via Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports and the port of Civitavecchia. The Greater Rome area is one of the country’s most important logistics locations, characterised by a low vacancy rate of around 3%. In 2024 the area saw a 68% increase in take up compared to 2023. The logistics stock in the Rome metropolitan area is divided into five sub-markets, with GLP strategically focusing on the South-Eastern Rome sub-market, an optimal location for hubs of various sizes that serve both the Lazio region and southern Italy as a whole.

Marco Belli, Country Director of GLP Italy, said: “This lease agreement underscores GLP’s commitment to developing high-quality, strategically located logistics facilities in one of Italy’s most dynamic markets. The sustained demand and strong take-up in the Greater Rome area reflect its critical role in the country’s logistics network. We are pleased to welcome Ilomo to G-Park Colleferro 3 and look forward to supporting their growth with our state-of-the-art infrastructure”
