We are pleased to see the progress being made with our rooftop solar project in G-Park Sagunto, Valencia, Spain.
With over 85,000 sqm of high-quality logistics space G-Park Sagunto is a significant project in our Spanish portfolio.
The project features a total PV capacity of 3.7 MWp and will be equipped with 6,720 high-quality solar modules. These panels are projected to generate substantial carbon savings, estimated at 11,000 tons of CO2 over their lifetime. This is equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting approximately 15,000 trees.
Construction of this solar plant began in April and will be fully operational by late summer this year. The clean and sustainable energy produced will be directly supplied to the on-site tenant, Quimi Romar, a perfumery, drugstore, and cosmetics business. In a strategic move towards sustainability, GLP Clean Energy signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Quimi Romar SL Global Care in late 2023.
