Adrienne Howells, UK Senior Development Director, joins panel at this years London and South East Manufacturing, Industrial and Logistics Conference discussing Diversity and Skills.
The London and South East Manufacturing, Industrial and Logistics Conference – LAST MILE – is back for 2022, The one-day event will bring together local and planning authorities, investors, developers, consultants, agents and tenants to discuss the sector’s challenges and future opportunities.
The conference will focus on skills, how industrial and logistics schemes can co-exist with residential, the opportunities multi-level industrial could bring, predictions for the sector’s continued growth, the impact of infrastructure as the sector grows, and the sector’s sustainability strengths, all within the London and South East markets.
The event will return to the unique Postal Museum, London, on 11 October 2022. Delegates will be able to enjoy a journey on the Mail Rail, as part of the conference experience with opportunities to network over lunch and during the drinks reception.
The event was set up by White Label Creative to help bring together developers, occupiers and local authorities to discuss the industrial and logistics sector and the opportunities and challenges it faces as it looks to grow in the more urban settings of London and South East, following its success last year we have now launched the event for its second year.
Adrienne joins a panel discussion focusing on Diversity and Skills from 14:15 – 15:00 which looks to discuss: How can the industrial and logistics sector contribute to employment and growth across the region? How can it ensure that it is able to have a diverse workforce to help attract and retain talent and be open to new perspectives? What are the skills shortages now and what is predicted to be the skills needed for the future?
