GLP, a leading investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, today announces the lease of a 51,000 SQ M logistics facility, Unit 3 in Magna Park Kassel, Germany, to Radial Fulfillment, a leading international supplier of technology and services for omnichannel retail.

“We look forward to working with our new customer Radial Fulfillment,” says Diana Fechtel, Asset Manager, GLP. “Kassel Unit 3 is an ideal location for logistics, distribution and e-commerce. All destinations in Germany can be reached from here within five hours,” explains Fechtel.

The facility is in an excellent location in the heart of Germany and Europe, on the Kassel Süd motorway junction and with easy access to the A7 and A44 motorways, two main north-south and east-west traffic routes.

Kassel Unit 3 comprises two logistics buildings of almost identical size, at approximately 25,000 SQ M each. The buildings are divided into three sections, and have a clear height of 10 metres. The buildings also have office and communal areas of approximately 480 SQ M and 245 SQ M, respectively. The two warehouses, Building A and Building B, offer 60 car parking spaces each, and 13 and 11 trailer parking spaces, 13 and eight dock doors, and five and seven ground-level warehouse doors, respectively. In addition, Building B has a direct railway connection.

Colliers acted as the lead broker, and alongside JLL jointly handled the leasing of the facility. CBRE supported the contract negotiations. GLP was advised by DLA Piper on matters of real estate law in connection with the leasing.
