GLP announced today that it has begun earthworks in its site in Colleferro (RM) and laid the first pillar of a Grade A warehouse facility with a total leasable area of 11,000 SQM.

The G-Park Colleferro 3, which will rise on a 25,000-square-meter plot and will be completed by early 2025, will form a logistics hub with other GLP properties in the area, given its proximity to G-Park Colleferro 2 and G-Park Colleferro 1, as well as three other properties in GLP’s portfolio located in Anagni. The project will be developed in a strategic location close to the Rome metropolitan area, on the main motorway to Southern Italy. The area benefits from an excellent road system, with direct access to the A1 highway, as well as multimodal connections guaranteed by Rome Fiumicino airport, Ciampino airport and the port of Civitavecchia.

In the design and construction, great importance will be given to aspects of sustainability and reduction of environmental impact, and the property will, in fact, have BREEAM Excellent certification.

Marco Belli, Country Director of GLP Italy, said, “With the laying of the first pillar we kick off the construction of our third G-Park in Colleferro, which will further enrich GLP’s offer in central Italy, in a strategy of continuous expansion and improvement of its portfolio. This development has been made to meet the needs of operators, who are looking for flexible, modern and geographically well-positioned properties, this project aims to respond to requests for attention to sustainability, technological innovation and integration with the territory.”
