GLP announces the appointment of François Peridier as Sales Director for Global Robotics Services (GRS) in France.
Based in Paris, François will be responsible for developing the customer portfolio, managing the pre-sales teams and rolling out the GRS offering in France. He brings over 15 years’ experience in supply chain IT projects, intralogistics processes and automation.
François began his career as a business engineer at CGI, providing IT services to key accounts. In 2010, he joined Zetes, first as a sales engineer for the integration of mobile IT solutions for intralogistics, then as Business Development Manager for Retail-In-Store IT offerings. In 2015, he joined Körber Supply Chain, where he successively held sales conquest positions for Voice Picking offerings, then AMR & WCS automation in warehouses and factories. At the same time, he completed a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management at ESSEC Business School (2016-2018). In May 2023, he joined the GRS team to develop GLP’s AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) and RaaS (Robotics-as-a-Service) integration business in France.
GRS, GLP’s robotics and automation division, is an innovative platform designed for customers seeking to optimize the productivity and functionality of their warehouse operations. Customers are provided with a complete turnkey solution, due to GRS’s pay-as-you-go RaaS offering, which considerably reduces the need for CapEx costs in sunk technology investments. In Asia, GRS has already completed over 30 projects, with installations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
