Frankfurt, 28th February 2025 – GLP, a leading global business builder, owner, developer, and operator of logistics real estate, digital infrastructure and renewable energy systems, today announces that its Mönchengladbach Regioparkring Logistics Centre is now fully leased following the signing of a new agreement.
The final four units, covering a combined area of approximately 31,000 SQM, have been let to GoodCheng, a Chinese supplier of consumer goods which plans to use the units to expand its logistics operations in Germany. This latest letting means that the 134,000 SQM logistics hub is now fully let, reinforcing its status as a key distribution facility within the Rhine-Ruhr region.
Strategically positioned in Regiopark Mönchengladbach, the logistics centre benefits from excellent access to major transport networks, including the A61, A46, and A44 motorways. Its proximity to a well-developed rail network, international airports, and key inland ports along the Rhine supports seamless national and international distribution.
The site has been designed to meet the highest industry standards with a clear height of 13.5M and high-specification warehouse facilities. It also offers ample trailer and parking, with 413 car parking spaces and 40 dedicated trailer parking bays.
The facility aligns with GLP’s commitment to building all new developments in Germany in compliance with the strict sustainability standards of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and in accordance with DGNB Gold Standard certification. The site also incorporates a photovoltaic (PV) installation currently in the commissioning phase on the roofs of Units 1-3, supporting renewable energy generation and reducing operating costs.
Lukas Grimm, Senior Asset Manager, GLP, said: « Securing full occupancy at Mönchengladbach Regioparkring Logistics Centre underscores the strong demand for modern, well-located logistics facilities. Our focus on delivering high-quality, sustainable spaces that enhance operational efficiency continues to attract leading businesses to our portfolio. We are delighted to welcome GoodCheng as the latest tenant to the site. »
