GLP today announces that it has appointed Vanessa Gracia as Sales Director for GRS in Spain and Portugal.
GRS (Global Robotics Services) is the robotics arm of GLP; a new innovative platform for customers and tenants seeking to optimise the productivity of their logistics operations throughout the warehouse, through the utilisation of robotic services. GRS offers collaborative robotics as a service (RaaS) solutions which provide customers with access to the benefits of robotics through an innovative subscription model, offering pay-as-you-go flexibility and avoiding CAPEX expenditure. GRS announced its first European project with GXO in Italy earlier this year and has more than 3000+ robots deployed globally across Greater China, Singapore, Europe, US and Canada.
Aeronautical and Space Engineer, Vanessa Gracia, who also holds an MBA in Business Management, will be responsible for developing new client relationships and supporting existing GRS customers across the region. She will also oversee commercial negotiation, working with project managers to ensure the ultimate success of projects.
Vanessa brings extensive experience in digital transformation and a strong background in technology and management, having played a leading role at ASTI Mobile Robotics, a leading European company in mobile robotics and intralogistics, acquired by ABB in 2021. At ASTI, she held the position of Channel Key Account Manager and then Key Account Manager specialising in mobile robotics, AGVs and AMRs for international customers at ABB Robotics. During her career, she led the evolution of the partner network and helped create automation solutions and value propositions in Industry 4.0 globally.
