GLP announced today that Stiegelmeyer, a leading medical furniture manufacturer, is leasing a warehouse in GLP Torun logistics centre, Poland, which will be used as a European distribution hub. Stiegelmeyer’s new warehouse comprises more than 3,600 SQ M of space as well as 200 SQ M of office facilities with a further 6,500 SQ M of warehouse space available for lease.
Stiegelmeyer is a German manufacturer of quality medical beds and furniture for use in hospitals, care homes and healthcare facilities. The company produces 125,000 beds annually which are sold across European markets. GLP Toruń is located within a 20-minute drive from one of Stiegelmeyer’s four manufacturing plants in Europe.
The GLP Toruń Logistics Centre is situated within the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone, and 10 km from central Toruń. It is located next to the National Road 91 which provides easy access to Expressway S10 and Motorway A1, which links the north and south of Poland. The two buildings currently offer 42,000 SQ M of warehouse space. Depending on client needs, the project can be expanded to include an additional 28,000 SQ M.
