GLP leases 25,000m2 Unit 7 in Magna Park Kassel to the ZUFALL logistics group
GLP, a leading investor and developer of logistics real estate and distribution parks, is leasing the 25,000 square metre (m2) Unit 7 in Magna Park Kassel to its long-standing existing customer ZUFALL logistics group.

The property is centrally located in the middle of Germany and Europe, directly at the Kassel-Süd motorway junction with connections to the A7 and A44 motorways, two central north-south and west-east traffic axes.
„We are pleased to welcome ZUFALL as a customer at one of our locations for the fourth time. Unit 7 offers an ideal base for logistics and distribution, as any domestic destination can be reached from here within five hours,“ says Diana Hohmeister, Senior Asset Manager, GLP. GLP was advised on real estate law by DLA Piper on the lease.
The building offers a clear height of ten metres, more than 25,000m2 of hall space, a mezzanine area of around 1,900m2 and 680m2 of office and social space. In addition, there will be 800m2 of outdoor storage space as well as 96 car and 34 truck parking spaces on the site. The equipment of the modern hall includes 20 dock levellers and a powerful ESFR (Early Suppression Fast Response) sprinkler system.
First-class infrastructure
Magna Park Kassel, founded in 2003, comprises a total of five units developed by GLP, including Unit 7. It is located in the Kassel freight village, an industrial park for transport and logistics-intensive companies. The GVZ offers a first-class infrastructure with a transshipment station for combined freight transport, public transport connections and a truck stop with service workshops for trucks and hotels. Renowned companies such as Volkswagen, the Rudolph Logistik Group, SMA Solar Technology and Radial Fulfillment as well as numerous parcel service providers are already on site.
CO2 reduction and cost reduction
GLP’s logistics and distribution properties meet the highest standards for environmentally friendly construction solutions. All of the company’s new developments in the German market are implemented in accordance with the strict environmental protection criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and are certified to at least DGNB Gold. Sustainable construction allows tenants to reduce their energy consumption, CO2 emissions and water consumption, thereby reducing their operational costs.
